How to apply for a F.R.I.E.N.D.S. grant award?
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. offers three categories of grants (Technology, Medical and Enrichment) to families who are part of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. organization. The purpose of these grants is to provide a better quality of life for your child.
Grants are not guaranteed awards, and are dependent on two factors, (1) a clear explanation and justification for the request; and (2) if funds are available at the time that the Board of Directors review the application.
Grant awards are limited to a maximum of $500.00 per family, per calendar year using one or a combination all categories. For example, a family can apply for $500.00 on a technology grant and will have met the maximum amount available for that calendar year. Another example could be that a family applies for a Technology grant of $200.00 and later applies for a $150.00 for a Medical grant and then later applies for a $150.00 for an Enrichment grant. Both examples offer a family the maximum allowable per calendar year.
